Technical Description
(1) The fixed adapter mounting hole enables easy integration of cylindrical components (e.g., lasers, collimators) into free-space optical devices. Adapters are available with a Ø1 inch smooth outer diameter and SM1 external thread. The threaded version is compatible with our lens sleeve systems, cage systems, and various optomechanical components. The smooth-hole adapter is best suited for optical adjustment frames, allowing collimated beam control via the adjustment frame.
(2) Two fastening setscrews are used to fix the mounting device in the limiting hole; a 2mm hex wrench is used to tighten and secure the position.
