The 76mm-long V-shaped clamp block is designed to support large cylindrical objects, such as large-diameter helium-neon lasers. Cylindrical objects are secured via the nylon-tipped locking screws on the included PRK2-A pressure arm.

Technical Description
The 76mm-long V-shaped clamp block is designed to support large cylindrical objects, such as large-diameter helium-neon lasers. Cylindrical objects are secured via the nylon-tipped locking screws on the included PRK2-A pressure arm. The locking screws can be tightened with a 2mm hex wrench. For additional clamping support, 3 M4 threaded holes at the bottom are used for installing extra pressure arms. (Each mount includes 1 pressure arm; additional arms need to be purchased separately.)

The Ø8mm pressure arm is fixed to the rod using a flexible mechanism and locked with a 2.5mm hex wrench. When used alone, the PRK2-A can clamp optical components up to 56.7mm in height. The distance between the rod center and the nylon-tipped set screw center is 30.5mm at the first position and 42.9mm at the second position.
The V-shaped clamp block is equipped with 2 M6 counterbores and 1 M4 counterbore for direct installation onto optical platforms or rods.

Application Example
The V-shaped design caters to the installation needs of different cylindrical objects. Each model features a robust integrated V-shaped clamp block body and a pressure arm, whose contact surface is directly collinear with the center of the “V” shape. The V-shaped clamp block and vertical pressure arm provide stable 3-point contact for secure component installation.
