The LPCM-E adapter enables subassembly insertion, allowing our 30 mm cage assembly to be installed between two 60 mm plates in a 60 mm cage system. It features a flexible clamping mechanism for stable attachment to two cage rods of the cage system.

Technical Description

(1) The LPCM-E adapter enables subassembly insertion, allowing our 30 mm cage assembly to be installed between two 60 mm plates in a 60 mm cage system. It features a flexible clamping mechanism for stable attachment to two cage rods of the 30 mm cage system and two cage rods of the 60 mm cage system.

(2) The adapter allows subassemblies to be removed from the cage system for inspection, and permits multiple optical assemblies to be easily inserted into and removed from the optical path.

Assembly Method

First build the 30 mm and 60 mm cage system assemblies separately. Attach the LPCM-E adapter to the 30 mm cage system, then insert this assembly into the 60 mm cage system. To remove the cage subassembly, we recommend loosening the flexible clamps holding the 30 mm cage subassembly, then removing the subassembly from the bottom or side of the 60 mm cage structure.

(3) The adapter is designed with arcuate cutouts to allow SM1 lens tubes to be attached within the 30 mm cage system for integration into the final assembly.
