Description

Product Description

  • Enables rapid optical path switching and selection in cage systems
  • An optical path adjustment device that creates a minimum of two preset optical paths
  • Diverting cube configurations: CSL30-MXBS with built-in beam splitter prism; CSL30-MXRP with built-in right-angle mirror
  • Four 4-40 threaded holes at each SM1 port for cage rod connection
  • Compatible with 30 mm cage systems

The CSL30-MX Series is an optical path switching device for cage systems. A simple toggle of the lever enables quick switching between the built-in beam splitter prism and right-angle mirror, creating a minimum of two preset optical paths within the system.

Technical Description

(1) The CSL30-MX Series is an optical path switching device. Rapid switching between the built-in beam splitter prism and right-angle mirror is achieved by toggling the adjustment lever, which generates a minimum of two preset optical paths in the 30 mm cage system. The dovetail rail design ensures stable repeat positioning in the cage system, aligning the centering holes with the mechanical axis of the cage system every time.

(2) Each cube features a movable dovetail rail base with a selectable built-in component: a beam splitter prism for the CSL30-MXBS models or a right-angle mirror for the CSL30-MXRP model.

Note: When connecting the cube with cage rods, attention should be paid to the protruding length of the 4-40 screws on the rods. A 2 mm threaded protrusion is generally sufficient, and excessive thread length is not recommended. Overlong threads will interfere with the prism/mirror switching of the cube, disrupting the stability of the optical path and preventing the optical components from maintaining a fixed position.

(3) The cube housing is equipped with four SM1 (1.035″-40) threaded ports, with four 4-40 threaded holes surrounding each port for compatibility with 30 mm cage systems. A beam path diagram is laser-marked on the housing surface to indicate the direction of light passing through the cube. The internal optical components are oriented in a single direction relative to the cube base, making correct orientation of the entire cube assembly critical in the setup.

(4) In addition, multiple cubes can be stacked and connected using M2-CX cube connectors, providing flexibility for assembling complex optical paths.\
