Technical Description
(1) The adjustable range of the SPW-SMX retaining ring wrench is 3.0~73.4mm, which can accurately match retaining rings of different sizes. It is fully compatible with lens sleeves up to Ø3 inches and SM05~SM3 retaining rings for various mounts. By adjusting the knurled knob, the diameter span between the blades can be aligned with the lens center, ensuring operational precision.
(2) The wrench blades can also be reversed: the flat end is for regular retaining rings, while the offset-tip end is suitable for adapters with holes. To reverse the blades, use a 1.3mm hex wrench to loosen and rotate the blade position.
(3) The blades extend 40.7mm from the main body. Compared with traditional cylindrical wrenches, this wrench has obvious advantages when handling high-radius-of-curvature lenses. The guide flange of traditional wrenches may touch the lens and affect operation, which is avoided by the more flexible blade design of this wrench.
