Technical Description
(1) The cage rod adapter simplifies separating cage components when adding or removing parts. It offers high flexibility, streamlines alignment, and supports convenient assembly and integration of cage systems.
(2) One end of the adapter has an inner bore; loosening the set screw allows insertion of a Ø6 mm cage rod. The rod position is secured by tightening the side M4 set screw with a 2.0 mm hex wrench. The other end of the adapter is an externally threaded stud, available in 440 or M3, for threading into another cage rod or a 440/M3 internally threaded cage component. A Ø2.3 mm through hole on the side of the block provides extra leverage for toolassisted tightening.
(3) The M3 threaded end can attach directly to the OPSM2 universal base plate to vertically mount a 30 mm cage assembly. Multithreaded hole arrays allow component mounting in all directions, increasing the flexibility of optical setups.
