Technical Description

(1)The adjustable collimation adapter is equipped with SM1 (1.035″-40) external threads and can provide ±6° tilt/deflection adjustment for cylindrical components. It integrates cylindrical assemblies, such as lasers, fiber collimators, or optical elements, into lens sleeves, cage systems, or optical mounts; when used with longer components, the available space inside the SM1-threaded lens sleeve may limit the adjustment range (providing ±5° tilt/deflection adjustment).

 

(2) Two adjustment screws on the front plate of the adapter are used to control tilt and deflection, which are turned with a 2.0mm hex wrench. The front plate of the adapter is also engraved with tilt and deflection axes, as well as two holes for a ring wrench. Tighten the locking screws with a hex wrench to fix the installed components.

To install the adapter in a lens sleeve or other components, first screw it to the desired position and axial direction, then tighten the lock ring against the end of the lens sleeve or mount. The lock ring ensures a secure installation position.
