Description

Product Description

  • Accommodates rectangular dichroic filters or other components with a maximum thickness of 3 mm
  • Equipped with SM1 (1.035″-40) central threaded hole
  • Compatible with 30 mm cage systems
  • Works with PCM-S series Ø6 mm posts
  • Multiple cage cubes can be connected with cube connectors

This dichroic filter cube allows mounting of rectangular components up to 3 mm thick via an internal clamp, such as dichroic mirrors, beam splitters, reflective mirrors or polarizing bandpass filters. It features a more compact size and reduces the distance between cage components compared to the M2-W series cage cubes.

Technical Description

(1) This dichroic filter cube can mount rectangular optical components (25–36 mm in width, 26 mm in height and up to 3 mm in thickness) via the LFM1-A2 internal clamp, including dichroic mirrors, beam splitters, reflective mirrors and polarizing bandpass filters. It has a more compact form factor and a reduced inter-component distance for cage systems when compared to the M2-W series cage cubes.

(2) The cube base is integrated with an LFM1-A2 rectangular internal clamp. After clamping the rectangular optical plate, secure the clamp to the base with two stud screws; the base and the cube housing are connected via two countersunk threaded holes.

(3) The cube housing features SM1 (1.035″-40) internal threads on all four sides, compatible with SM1 sleeves and other accessories. Emission and excitation filters can also be mounted in short lens sleeves and connected to the SM1 threaded ports, enabling the integration of a complete fluorescence imaging filter assembly.

(4) Four 4-40 threaded holes are machined on each face of the cube, allowing integration into 30 mm cage systems using PCM-S series posts. In addition, an optical post can be mounted via one M4/M6 threaded hole on the bottom of the cube.

(5) Two or more cage cubes can be connected in series and side-by-side when used with the M2-CX cage cube connector.
