The M2-CX series is a cage cube connector for quickly joining our 30 mm cage cubes. Its stackable design supports direct connection of any number of cage cubes, providing flexibility for building complex optomechanical setups.

Technical Description

(1) The M2-CX series is a cage cube connector for quickly joining our 30 mm cage cubes. Its stackable design supports direct connection of any number of cage cubes, offering flexibility for complex optomechanical assemblies. Alignment Pins: Due to alignment pins on the connector, mate with the drilled holes next to the SM1 threaded holes on the cube surface.M2-CX is compatible with CSL30-M2 cage cubes; M2-CX2 is compatible with M2-W series cage cubes.

(2) The connector can be installed using the included screws to stack cubes. Mounting the connector on a cube does not interfere with cage rod attachment. Cage rods can be secured directly to the cube via the 4-40 threaded holes on the cube connector.

(3) Supplied screws:

• 2×4-40 flat-head screws: install into the two recessed holes on the inner face of the connector for attachment to a cube
• 4×4-40 cap screws: install into the four counterbored holes on the side for locking to another cube
