Product Description
- Adjusts the position of optical elements along the optical axis in SM2 lens tube systems.
- Features SM2 (2.035”40) internal and external threads.
- Three adjustment ranges: 5 mm, 13 mm, and 21 mm.
- Extended external thread section for adjustable positioning of mounted optical elements.
- Accommodates optical elements up to 10 mm thick.
- Supplied with 1 standard SM2 retaining ring.
Adjustable lens tubes allow axial positioning of an optical element within a lens tube system. These lengthadjustable tubes are designed to hold one Ø2 inch optical element with a maximum thickness of 10 mm. Featuring extralong external threads, these SM2threaded (2.035”40) adjustable lens tubes enable precise axial positioning of Ø2 inch optical elements along the lens tube system.

Technical Description
Adjustable lens tubes allow axial positioning of an optical element within a lens tube system. These lengthadjustable tubes are designed to hold one Ø2 inch optical element up to 10 mm thick. For operation, mount the optical element into the internally threaded section using the included SM2 retaining ring. Then screw the adjustable tube into a compatible SM2threaded tube or lens mount until the element reaches the desired position, and secure the tube with the supplied locking ring. (One retaining ring is included; additional rings are available for separate purchase.)

These SM2threaded (2.035”40) adjustable lens tubes feature an extended external thread section for positioning Ø2 inch optical elements along the optical axis of the lens tube system. Different tube models provide different travel ranges for optical element adjustment.

It can be mounted between two fixed lens tubes. These adjustable lens tubes are ideal for fine adjustment of the first and last lenses in a lens tube system. Although a lens tube may be attached to the front of the adjustable lens tube, this should only be done after the optical element position is fixed, since the adjustable lens tube requires free rotation and translation during positioning.
