Adjustable lens tubes allow position adjustment of optical elements within a lens tube system. These SM1threaded (1.035”-40) adjustable lens tubes feature an extended external thread section for precise axial positioning of Ø1 inch optical elements along the optical axis of the lens tube system.

Technical Description
Adjustable lens tubes allow position adjustment of optical elements in a lens tube system. These SM1threaded (1.035”-40) adjustable lens tubes have an extended external thread section to precisely position Ø1 inch optical elements along the optical axis of the lens tube system.
These adjustable lens tubes are ideal for fine adjustment of the first and last lenses in a lens tube system. A standard lens tube may be mounted in front of the adjustable lens tube, but should only be installed after the position is fixed, as the adjustable lens tube requires free rotation and movement during positioning.
Operation: First mount the optical element into the internally threaded section using the included CSK3 retaining ring. Then screw the adjustable lens tube into a compatible SM1threaded lens tube or mount until the optical element reaches the desired position. Secure the lens tube position with the supplied locking ring. A retaining ring wrench may be used for applications where the locking ring is inaccessible by hand.
Optical Element Mounting Diagram: *One CSK3 standard retaining ring is included. Additional retaining rings are available for separate purchase.
- Multiple models are available with maximum travel ranging from 8.5 mm to 34.5 mm. The upgraded locking ring features a knurled texture for improved durability and wear resistance. The new CSM1-T series accommodates Ø1 inch optical elements up to 8 mm thick.
