Description

Product Description

  • Four internal threaded ports of the cube are standard SM2 (2.035″40)
  • Ports allow integration of the cube with other accessories and provide a platform for mounting optical components internally
  • Two faces feature Ø6.02 mm through holes for cage rod mounting
  • Four faces are tapped with 440 UNC threaded holes to accept Ø6 mm cage rods in different orientations
  • Compatible with 60 mm cage systems

The CSL60M2 is a 60 mm cage cube designed for building 2D and 3D cage systems. It provides a platform for mounting optical components such as beam splitters internally. Two opposite faces have Ø6 mm through holes, while the other four faces have 440 threaded holes for cage rod installation. The through holes enable 1D translation of a section within the cage assembly. Four M4 threaded holes on the top and bottom faces allow connection of various accessories. The four SM2 internal threaded ports permit integration with other accessories such as Ø2inch lens sleeves. Unused ports can be closed with port cover plates.

Technical Description

(1) The threaded ports on the sides of the cube are SM2 (2.035″40), compatible with standard SM2 internally threaded components. The top and bottom faces are smooth bored, and the M4 holes on these faces secure cube stages or cover plates, providing a method for mounting optical components such as beam splitters inside the cube.

(2) Two faces of the cube are machined with Ø6 mm through holes for cage rods, while the other four faces feature 440 threaded holes for securing cage rods to the cube. The through holes allow the cube to translate along the cage rods, after which it is locked with M3 set screws on the cube.

(3) The cube can be used with SM2 threaded cover plates (for the top and bottom faces), rigid adjustable stages for prisms and beam splitters, and Ø2inch optical component mounts. These accessories are especially useful for beam splitters in 60 mm cage systems.
