The cage cube is an important component in cage systems. It can reflect and refract light to maintain the same propagation axis. In optical systems, the cage cube functions to adjust the optical path, reduce the optical path length, and eliminate optical distortion.

Technical Description
(1) The 16mm cage system is usually compact, enabling it to excel in space-constrained environments. It is more suitable for embedded optical systems that require a certain collection angle and fast autofocus. As an important part of the cage system, the cage cube reflects and refracts light to maintain the same propagation axis, adjusting the optical path, reducing the optical path length, and eliminating optical distortion in optical systems.

(2) The CSL16-M series cage cubes feature 2/4 SM05 threaded input and output ports on the housing, suitable for mounting right-angle prisms for approximate 0° and 90° reflection. The maximum height of the installed prism shall be ≤20mm (prisms are bonded to the mount with curing adhesive, sold separately), which reflects the optical path of the cage system. They are also compatible with our SM05 series lens sleeves.

(3) Four 4-40 threaded holes are provided around each port, compatible with mounting SPCM series Ø4mm cage rods for integration into 16mm cage systems.

(4) An M4 threaded hole at the bottom of the cube allows connection to rod assemblies for free-space applications.
