With a unique claw-type lens clamping design, there’s no need to adjust the mount height when using optical components of different diameters. The mount can automatically center optical components within the range of Ø0.1 inch (Ø2.5mm) to Ø2.0 inches (Ø50.8mm) to within 0.2mm. The automatic alignment movement of the V-shaped claws keeps the lens on the same optical axis regardless of its diameter.

Technical Description
With a unique claw-type lens clamping design, there’s no need to adjust the mount height when using optical components of different diameters. The mount can automatically center optical components within the range of Ø0.1 inch (Ø2.5mm) to Ø2.0 inches (Ø50.8mm) to within 0.2mm. The automatic alignment movement of the V-shaped claws keeps the lens on the same optical axis regardless of its diameter.

The TOC-X adjustable tilt model can provide ±4° pitch and tilt adjustment for optical components. The pitch and tilt adjustments are actuated by three 100TPI (Threads per Inch) adjustment screws, enabling very smooth and controlled displacement of the optical components.

During use, simply retract the spring-loaded mechanical arms and slide in an optical component. Once positioned, use a 2mm hex wrench to tighten the set screws, pushing the jaws against the mounting plate to lock it firmly like a fixed-diameter mount. The mount is equipped with M4 counterbores, which can be connected to Ø12mm rods using M4 cap screws for free-space setups.

The mount is not limited to fixing optical lenses. In addition to circular cylindrical optomechanical components, the 3-point optical mount with V-shaped claw clamping design can also fix other square components or cylindrical optical assemblies.
