Technical Notes
- The SP-SLH microscope sample holder is intended for slides, Petri dishes, recording chambers, patch clamps, multi‑well plates and general electrophysiology setups. It supports flexible placement of samples or devices in or adjacent to the optical path, enabling easy access to the setup and excellent adaptability for microscopy.
The flat top features a Ø110 mm opening and four clamps for secure mounting of recording chambers in the optical path. A removable slide disc insert accepts microscope slides up to 26.0 × 76.2 mm; the central recess fits Ø35 mm Petri dishes.
A rigid pre-assembled stand is provided for universal use. The platform height is adjustable over a range, and the post allows 360° rotation for precise positioning of mounted components in the imaging system. The pre-assembled stand includes a CAX‑R50 heavy‑duty bracket and a CFEP‑100‑S1 Ø1.5‑inch post. (Other height configurations can be ordered separately.)
The SP-SLH includes an OOP‑MA slider that mounts to the bottom dovetail rail of the holder. Loosening the clamp screw allows 114 mm horizontal movement of the holding arm to adjust its position under the objective. This travel also enables positioning of the sample holder across the work surface.
