The base is fitted with an M6 bolt that can be screwed into the bottom of Ø12mm rod holders and Ø25mm rods, converting them into base-mounted rods. It is designed for use with our M-BASE series fork-shaped pressure plates.

Technical Description
The base is fitted with an M6 bolt that can be screwed into the bottom of Ø12mm rod holders and Ø25mm rods, converting them into base-mounted rods. The bottom can be further fixed to the rod or rod holder with additional force using a 3mm hex wrench or ball-head screwdriver.
With an outer diameter of Ø31.6mm, it is used to pair rods with our M-BASE series fork-shaped pressure plates. The fork-shaped pressure plates can fix the converted base-mounted rods to breadboards or optical platforms.
