Technical Description
(1) The Ø12mm stainless steel rods are available in various lengths, playing an irreplaceable role in free-space optical experiment adjustment and manual optical path calibration. With lengths ranging from 30mm to 500mm, these precision-ground stainless steel rods are made of 304 stainless steel and compatible with our rod holders and structural accessories.
The PCA-S series offers lengths from 30mm to 500mm: rods of 30-60mm have obvious chamfers at one end, while longer rods (150-500mm) have smaller chamfers. The PCA-S1 series provides lengths from 30mm to 100mm, with uniform chamfers at both ends.

(2) One end of the rod has an M4 threaded hole (10mm deep), and the other end has an M6 threaded hole (13mm deep). Various optomechanical components can be installed arbitrarily, and different optical axis heights can be easily achieved by combining rods of different specifications. A Ø3mm through hole on the side of the rod allows a ball-head screwdriver or wrench to pass through, providing greater torque and additional leverage during component tightening.

The two long rods (300mm/500mm) – PCA30-S and PCA50-S – are equipped with M6 threaded holes at both ends.
