The PACS-2 piezoelectric ceramic controller supports simultaneous operation of three channels, making it ideal for precision interpolated positioning applications (submicron level). Technical Description

(1) The PACS series split-type three-channel PZT controller consists of an independent controller, a manually operated knob handle box and a power supply. It is suitable for controlling the movement of open-loop piezoelectric actuators without active position feedback function, such as piezoelectric micrometers, piezoelectric mirror mounts and micro-motion piezoelectric displacement stages.

(2) The PACS-2 piezoelectric ceramic controller enables simultaneous operation of three channels, applicable to precision interpolated positioning scenarios (submicron level). It is split from the operation handle and connected to the operation handle box for control through a provided 1m M8 aviation plug cable. The controller has a voltage control range of DC 0V ~ 60V, with smooth linear output in the 0V ~ 54V segment (see attached table). The countersunk groove design allows for vertical or horizontal installation on an optical platform.

(3) The control panel of the PACS-1 operation handle box is equipped with three axis knobs, each corresponding to a single channel, allowing three independent axes to be controlled by one console. Each knob has a 10-turn stroke, and laser-marked “+” and “-” symbols for easy identification of the voltage adjustment direction. With slight damping, the knobs are not easily subject to misoperation that leads to output voltage drift. Each knob is fitted with an embedded green LED that lights up as a status indicator.

(4) One set includes: PACS-2 three-channel PZT controller, PACS-1 operation handle box, PSU-120-60 switching power supply, and 1m M8 aviation plug cable.
