Technical Notes
The OPH-B series optical rails / brackets provide essential building blocks for stable, rigid 3D mechanical assemblies. They feature high flexibility, strong adaptability, and multiple mounting options. Rail length selection determines the horizontal / vertical travel available for experiments and microscope components.

The OPH-B series rails have rectangular slot guides on all four sides, with lengths from 200 mm to 1000 mm. The dovetail mounting surface allows end-to-end interconnection and compatibility with OOP-MA, OOP-MX, and OOP-MO2 sliders. Optical components mounted on sliders can move continuously and freely along the dovetail. Sliders are secured with two screws, adjustable with a 3 mm hex key.


Cover plates for 66 mm rails / brackets have 4 × Ø4.4 mm counterbore holes and can be fastened to rail ends with M4 cap screws.

- OPS-MO cover plate: creates a lighttight enclosed environment inside the rail.
- OPS-MC cover plate: provides an additional cableslot port.
- OPS-MS2 cover plate: features a through port with SM2 (2.035”-40) internal thread, for integrating SM2 lens tubes and 60 mm cage systems.
OHD series cage breadboards are designed for integrating 30 mm cage system components and other devices on top of rails / brackets or along their vertical length.
- OHD-35 and OHD-SM1: 4 × Ø4.2 mm counterbore holes, mount directly to heavy-duty rail tops.
- OHD-SM1A: used with APT series right-angle adapters for free positioning along the rail’s vertical length.、

OBP series cage mounting plates feature Ø4.2 mm counterbore holes at various positions. Unlike the oneway mounting of OHD series, OBP series supports dualrail structural support and flexible custom end or center mounting.
- Each plate has SM1 threaded holes at both ends.
- Center aperture: SM2 or Ø63.0 mm, compatible with 30 / 60 mm system components.
- Cage rods allow perpendicular mounting of cage components relative to the plate.
- CSK-A series clamp mounts can be used for horizontal installation of cage assemblies.、

OPH-C rail connector blocks join two OPH-B series rails end-to-end to form longer assemblies, improving flatness and reducing deflection of single long rails. The connector’s outer profile matches OPH-B series rails, allowing mating components to clamp the joint or slide across the full rail length.
