Technical Description

(1) The cuvette mount is widely applied in spectral analysis, spectrophotometer experiments and other liquid sample testing scenarios. It is integrated with a 12.512.545mm glass cuvette (8.5mm in Z-axis) and a pluggable filter holder. The magnetic cover design of the mount enables a light-tight setup; closing the light-shielding cover allows mounting of cuvettes up to 50mm in height (including bottle stopper height), making it suitable for fiber optic or free-space applications.

(2) The mount features four optical ports and provides two vertical optical paths for measuring transmittance and fluorescence. As shown in the figure below, the two optical axes (blue lines) and the rod mount axis (red line) share a common orthogonal intersection point. In free-space applications, this point allows users to rotate the holder while maintaining optical axis alignment.

(3) The mount is equipped with four SM1-compatible optical ports and 4-40 screw holes, enabling compatibility with Oeabt series lens sleeves and 30mm cage systems. The two input/output optical ports are fitted with PEC11-SM1 adapters, compatible with Ø11-Ø12mm fiber optic collimators for connecting fiber-optic-based light sources, detectors or spectrometers. The other two ports are supplied with CSL-P1 dust caps for light and dust protection.

(4) The filter holder is typically used to achieve wavelength isolation of incident or emergent radiation, and is positioned between the cuvette and the ports. It is compatible with Ø1-inch optical elements with a thickness of ≤7.5mm. An additional CMFI filter holder is available for separate purchase to facilitate quick filter replacement.
