Description
Product Description
- 4 mm travel for X, Y, and Z axes
- Flexure design ensures smooth, continuous motion and long-term stability
- Preconfigured adjusters for manual coarse or fine adjustment
- Compact dimensions: 77.5 × 74.0 × 62.4 mm (excluding actuators)
- Top plate with alignment grooves for multi-axis stage accessories
- All adjusters mounted to a common base to minimize crosstalk
- Modular design allows disassembly and replacement of external actuators
- Ideal for professional fiber coupling, fiber alignment, and waveguide positioning systems
The modular design of the Nano XC3 3-axis stage allows actuators to be removed and replaced at any time. All actuators are directly coupled to the base, minimizing motion crosstalk. The parallel flexure design delivers precise, smooth, continuous motion with negligible friction.

Technical Notes
Precision actuation: The Nano XC3 flexure stage with vernier micrometer adjusters offers 4 mm travel on X, Y, Z axes, with a maximum load of 1 kg. Nominal platform height is 62.4 mm. Coarse vernier scale has 10 μm divisions; fine adjustment accuracy is 1 μm, enabling precise reference positioning.

A wide range of accessories is available for mounting microscope objectives, collimators, waveguides, fibers, and other components.

Applications
Fiber coupling: The 3X-AM platform bracket is widely used in fiber launch systems. Aspheric lenses mounted on it can replace longer microscope objectives. Its surface is ideal for mounting large or multiple components on flexure stage accessories. The fiber holder mounts directly to Nano XC3 3-axis stages. A central keyway along the top mounting surface enables quick reconfiguration of optical components while maintaining alignment.

Probing simulation: In addition to flat top plates, the 3X-AM2 90° right-angle top platform is available. Installed after removing the original top plate, it allows fiber mounts and accessories to be attached to the side of the Nano XC3 stage. The V-groove fiber mount holds Ø150–341 μm fibers for butt coupling to small waveguide devices, secured by magnetic clamps. Its tapered top plate enables easy visual inspection of fiber-waveguide interfaces.

Easy accessory alignment: The standard top plate features two 3 mm wide central notches for aligning multi-axis accessories. It includes 16×M3, 4×M2, and 9×M4 threaded holes for mounting rotary or long-travel linear stages. The two central slots support fast system reconfiguration while preserving alignment. The orthogonal pattern supports right-hand and left-hand configuration.
