Description

Product Description

  • Enables vertical adjustment of microscope objectives.
  • Focus knob controls adjustment speed for fast or high-precision movement.
  • Linear lifting travel: 38 mm.
  • Maximum vertical load capacity: 1 kg.
  • Multiple pre-assembled configuration options available.

This microscope focus slide uses a ball-guided rack-and-pinion focus mechanism with approximately 38 mm of coarse focus travel for vertical adjustment of microscope lenses. Eccentric adjustment of the gear sleeve optimizes meshing between the gear and rack for smooth motion and zero backlash. Maximum vertical load: 1 kg.Do not use horizontally; backlash may occur. For higher loads, contact customer service for technical support.

Technical Notes

The microscope focus slide employs a ball-guided rack-and-pinion focus mechanism, providing about 38 mm of coarse focus travel. It uses wear-resistant copper alloy dovetail guides for precision positioning. Eccentric adjustment of the gear sleeve ensures smooth movement and eliminates backlash. Maximum vertical load: 1 kg.Do not mount horizontally; this causes backlash issues. For heavier loads, contact support.

One end of the knob provides approximately 38 mm of coarse focus travel using wear-resistant copper alloy dovetail guides. The other knob controls damping to prevent unintended drifting of the focus position. Friction resistance between the gear sleeve and shaft can be adjusted via the knob.

Front and rear panels can be mounted to Ø1.5-inch posts or 66 mm brackets using adapter blocks. Multiple pre-assembled setups are supported: front panels allow installation of cage systems or other experimental setups.
