Description

Product Description

  • Can install 12 filters (dual wheels), compatible with Ø1-inch or Ø25mm filters;
  • SM1 internal threads in the lens holes for mounting optical components and lens sleeves;
  • Compatible with Ø1-inch or Ø25mm filters, thickness: 4mm;
  • Numbers 1-6 are laser-engraved on the edge of each lens hole for easy labeling and confirmation, enabling precise positioning of filters via the numbers;
  • The wheel can be rotated repeatedly to switch filters;

As compact and convenient filter organizing equipment, the FWO-A series filter wheels are available in two configurations: single-wheel and dual-wheel. These mechanically indexed filter wheels are designed to provide precise alignment and high repeatability. Each filter wheel is designed to mount 6 Ø1-inch or Ø25mm filters and can rotate independently. Filters are secured in place using the included retaining rings, allowing the filter wheel to be compatible with other SM-threaded components.

Technical Description

The filter wheel is designed to mount 12 Ø1/2-inch (Ø12.5mm) filters and can rotate independently. Filters are secured in place using the included retaining rings. Each filter port features standard SM1 (1.035″-40) threads, enabling the filter wheel to be compatible with other SM-threaded components. The FWO-A1 dual-wheel filter wheel can mount 6 Ø1-inch (Ø25mm) filters on each wheel respectively.

To install filters up to 4mm thick on the filter wheel, simply remove the SM-threaded retaining ring from the mounting hole, place the filter into the threaded hole against the back positioning surface, and then secure the filter with the retaining ring. For filters thicker than 4mm, such as bandpass and laser line filters, edge-pass filters, or fluorescence filters, first remove the retaining ring and screw an Ø1-inch lens sleeve into the filter wheel’s mounting hole. Then, install the filter into the lens sleeve.

Application Examples

Oeabt offers a variety of optical adjustment frames and mounts capable of installing many standard-sized optical components. Fixed optical mounts feature an integrated design that can be integrated into laser systems or other compactly designed systems, making them suitable for applications requiring extremely high stability. They can easily build optical experimental platforms in optical path systems.
