This wheel accommodates 5 dichroic filters or beam splitters, suitable for applications requiring adjustable optical characteristics, such as fluorescence imaging, spectral separation, and light source conditioning.

Technical Description

• The wheel holds 5 dichroic filters or beam splitters, ideal for applications involving adjustable optical properties such as fluorescence imaging, spectral separation, and light source tuning. Filters can be quickly switched as needed. The wheel features four optical ports oriented at 45° relative to the filter plane, allowing users to operate along or perpendicular to the optical path based on experimental requirements.

(2) Each magnetic filter holder can be freely pulled out from the central hub, enabling convenient filter removal and replacement without dismantling or disturbing the entire setup. A small window on the filter wheel housing displays the numerical position of the current filter.Note: To remove the filter wheel cover, loosen the thumb screw on the front of the housing (no need to fully remove it) to open the magnetic wheel cover and access the 5 filter holders.

(3) Each optical port is equipped with SM1 threaded holes and Ø6 mm cage rod mounting holes, which are compatible with 30 mm cage systems and SM1 (1.035″40) lens sleeve systems. In addition, two M4 mounting holes on the bottom of the wheel allow post mounting for easy integration with various optical components and experimental platforms.
