Technical Notes
Rotating the external head shifts the internal aspheric lens along the optical axis to adjust the distance between the lens and fiber end face. This optimizes collimation or coupling. The knurled locking ring secures the focus position once set.


For fiber-to-fiber coupling, the FB series fiber U-stage is recommended. Compatible with POL-12 mounting holes or OAD-12 collimation holes, this collimator features an SM1 (1.035”-40) external thread for direct integration into U-stages, optical mounts, or cage systems.
