Description

The DRM1 is equipped with two independently rotating magnetic mounting rings, enabling 360° continuous rotation and angular adjustment with 2° laser graduation. This ensures precise positioning and consistency of optical components during rotation.

Technical Description

• The DRM1 is equipped with two independently rotating magnetic mounting rings, which can rotate continuously at 360° and have angular adjustment with 2° laser graduation. This guarantees precise positioning and consistency of optical components during rotation. The mounting hole features an SM1 (1.035”-40) internal thread, supporting the installation of 1-inch (Ø1″) optical components with a maximum thickness of 6.4mm using the included retaining ring.
• The mounting rings adopt a magnetic attraction design, ensuring secure connection with the main body of the mount. For disassembly, simply pull them out gently, facilitating replacement and maintenance. Each mounting ring has a precision knurled edge for smooth rotation adjustment.

• The distance from the optical axis of the mount to the top of the rod is 25mm, and the spacing between the two optical components when installed is 7.6mm. When installing linear polarizers and waveplates in close proximity, there is no need to align the optical axes of the two independent rotating mounts. It can function as a variable polarizer and attenuator, simplifying the installation process.
