Product Description

  • Suitable for 30mm and 60mm cage systems;
  • 90° wedge-ball reversing transmission structure, combined with a differential adjustment handle for micro-feed adjustment;
  • Adjustment stroke up to 5mm, minimum scale of the differential adjustment handle is 1μm;
  • Equipped with a spring self-resetting structure, featuring good constraint, high retention, and stable feeding;
  • Tool-free disassembly and assembly, convenient and easy to use;

It is an actuator for precise position adjustment of components in cage-type optical systems, adopting a manual operation mode. It can achieve fast, stable, and precise (micron-level) axial position adjustment. It changes the traditional operation method for translational position adjustment of cage systems during the construction of cage-type optical systems, and frees users from dependence on operators’ skills, experience, feel, and even luck. Thus, it improves the efficiency and quality of optical path construction, shortens the process of operators’ learning and experience accumulation, and fills the long-standing gap of no special tools or equipment in this field.

Technical Description

(1) The cage plate actuator is a manual actuator for precise position adjustment of components in cage-type optical systems, suitable for 30mm and 60mm cage systems. Compared with the traditional method of fine-tuning the position by manually pushing and pulling the cage components to move on the cage rods, this actuator can realize fast, stable, and precise axial position adjustment. The feeding and retracting stroke accuracy is far higher than that achievable by manual adjustment relying on feel and experience.

(2) The actuator uses a differential adjustment handle instead of manual control for feeding and retracting strokes, with an output stroke of 5mm. The scale reading of the micrometer head handle is 1μm, which can be directly read in increments of 10μm.

(3) When used in a cage system: Place the actuator on one side (front, rear, or side) of the cage component whose position needs to be adjusted and close to it; clamp the actuator’s hooks into the cage rods on both sides of the top of the cage system; fasten the cage rods with hand-tightened screws to firmly install the actuator on the cage system.
