The 16mm threaded cage plate is specially designed for our compact 16mm cage assembly system. It is suitable for optical systems equipped with Ø1/2-inch optical components. The product comes with 2 CSK05 retaining rings for clamping Ø1/2-inch optical lenses with a thickness ≤ 5.3mm.

Technical Description
(1) The 16mm threaded cage plate is specially designed for our compact 16mm cage assembly system. It is suitable for optical systems equipped with Ø1/2-inch optical components. It comes with 2 CSK05 retaining rings for clamping Ø1/2-inch optical lenses with a thickness ≤ 5.3mm. For mounting thicker lenses, optical components can be installed into sleeves and then screwed onto the cage plate.

(2) The central threaded hole of SM05 (0.535”-40) is surrounded by 4 Ø4mm through-holes with a center spacing of 16mm, compatible with our SPCM series small rods. Meanwhile, the four corners of the cage plate are provided with additional Ø6mm through-holes with a center spacing of 30mm. These holes are precision-machined for a smooth sliding fit with corresponding cage rods, enabling conversion between 16mm and 30mm cage systems. In addition, there are operable locking screws on the side to fix the cage plate to the matching cage rods.

(3) The M4 threaded hole at the bottom can be mounted on stainless steel connecting rods for free-space applications.
