Technical Description

These lens tubes are ideal for building compact optical systems with lightshielded paths. The CSA2V series features two open access slots for quick, easy setup of complex optical assemblies, allowing optical element adjustment without disassembly. Mount the optical element to the desired depth using the supplied 2×CSK4 retaining rings, then secure with the second ring.

The lens tube includes a 360° rotatable sliding cover that can be opened or closed from any direction. It blocks stray light and prevents dust and contamination.

Optical elements can be manually adjusted through the side access slots without disassembly. No retaining ring wrench is required for convenient operation.

 

One end of the tube has a 3.8 mm external thread for direct stackable connection between tubes. It also mates directly with SM2 (2.035”40) threaded components, providing flexibility for complex optomechanical setups.
