Description
Product Description
- Accommodates Ø1-inch optical elements with a maximum thickness of 0.28 inches (7.1mm)
- Maximum adjustable travel of 1.2mm; precision micrometer actuator with a scale for translation, graduated in 5µm increments, 0.25mm per revolution
- SM1 (1.035″-40) threaded mounting hole, compatible with SM1 threaded lens tubes, 1 SM1 retaining ring included
- Objective lenses can be mounted with the SM1-RMS retaining ring adapter
- Delivers repeatable Z-axis travel within 30mm cage systems
This Z-axis translation mount enables precise positioning of optical components along the optical axis. It can directly mount Ø1-inch (25.4mm) optical elements, or those housed in SM1 (1.035″-40) male-threaded lens tubes. Providing repeatable Z-axis travel within 30mm cage systems, it can compensate for focusing errors in applications such as fiber alignment or spatial filtering within cage systems, or be used for applications requiring precise adjustment along the optical axis.
Technical Description
(1) The scaled actuator knob is graduated in 5µm increments with a travel of 0.25mm per revolution; 1 SM1 retaining ring included, and Ø6mm through-holes compatible with PCM series cage rods.

(2) The CMSA-Z mount can be applied in spatial filtering systems, where optical fibers are mounted via SMA fiber adapter discs. In such applications, the CMSA-Z can perform translational compensation for focusing errors or be used for scenarios requiring precise adjustment along the optical axis.

(3) The integrated SM1 threaded hole allows thicker optical elements to be mounted on the CMSA-Z translation stage using SM1 lens tubes.
