Description

Product Description

  • Available in rod lengths from Ø0.5 inches (12.7mm) to 4 inches (101.6mm); height can be increased by stacking via threaded holes.
  • Base compatible with M-BASE-C fork-shaped pressure plates.
  • Solid stainless steel construction with polished and ground surface.
  • 6mm through hole in the middle of the rod body; tools can be used to apply additional force for tightening when directly installing on optical platforms.

The integrated solid non-magnetic stainless steel base-mounted rods offer excellent strength and rigidity. We provide versions with M4 or M6 threaded holes at both ends. A wide groove around the threaded holes facilitates clamping on our optical mounts and optical platforms. Base-mounted rods are available in various heights from 0.5 inches to 4 inches. Additional rods can be added to the top of standard base-mounted rods to increase height.

Technical Description

Base-mounted rods are available in various heights from 0.5 inches (12.7mm) to 4 inches (101.6mm). Additional rods can be added to the top of standard base-mounted rods to increase height.

The base of the rod is compatible with our solid stainless steel fork-shaped pressure plates, enabling flexible fixation of the rod assembly to the optical platform. We also offer rod spacers to enhance the flexibility of vertical positioning, which can also be stacked on base-mounted rods to obtain other intermediate lengths.

Assembly

Manual assembly and installation

Installation Methods:Base-mounted rods are available in different lengths: 1 inch (25.4mm) to 4 inches (101mm).The Ø1-inch rod has a 6mm through hole in the middle; tools can be used to apply additional force for tightening when directly installing on optical platforms.

Application Example

Oeabt offers optical support components of various sizes and functions, which play an irreplaceable role in free-space optical experiment adjustment and manual optical path calibration. They can arbitrarily install various optomechanical components with M4/M6 screws.
