The base is used to mount CFJP-S series Ø25mm rods, converting them into base-mounted rods. The M6 set screws on the side drive the flexible clamping mechanism, allowing the rod to rotate 360°. For height adjustment, the hollow base enables direct contact between the rod and the optical platform surface, maximizing the rod’s height adjustment range. Compared with fork-shaped pressure plates, the CFJP-B-S rod base has a larger contact area with the platform and offers better stability.

Technical Description

The base is made of solid 304 stainless steel and is used to mount CFJP-S series Ø25mm rods, converting them into base-mounted rods. The M6 set screws on the side drive the flexible clamping mechanism, allowing the rod to rotate 360°. For height adjustment, the hollow base enables direct contact between the rod and the optical platform surface, maximizing the rod’s height adjustment range.

Compared with fork-shaped pressure plates, the CFJP-B-S rod base has a larger contact area with the platform. Its parallelism and perpendicularity machining tolerances are within ±0.05mm, providing better stability. The bottom surface is equipped with 4 counterbore mounting holes; after positioning, use the included M6 cap screws to tighten and fix it to the optical platform or breadboard.

On narrow optical platforms, the base can be used to mount small secondary platforms. Thanks to its solid construction, it enhances installation stability and has excellent load-bearing capacity, making full use of the space on the optical breadboard.
