Technical Notes
The rotation base is equipped with a platform that enables continuous 360° rotation, which is perfectly suitable for opto-mechanical parts demanding smooth and backlash-free rotation. An angular scale with 2° increments is laser-engraved on the platform, and numerical labels are marked under the scale lines at each 20° to facilitate the setting of the platform’s angular direction. The rotation of the platform can be locked by tightening the side clamping screw with a 2.0mm hex wrench.
The rotating platform is designed with 4×M4 threaded holes and 1×central M6 threaded hole, which are used for mounting various opto-mechanical components.
