Technical Description

(1) The cube mounts fluorescence filter sets (dichroic mirror, excitation filter, emission filter) in a cagecompatible cube, ideal for custom microscopy setups. The top cover is engraved with a beam splitter location diagram to indicate the optical path through the cube. (Emission ports are tilted 3° relative to the surface to reduce stray reflections.)

(2) The cube includes one fluorescence filter insert set and a detachable base. Magnets in the base and insert enable repeatable positioning in cage systems. Separate cube insert sets are available, making it easy to quickly swap fluorescence filter sets or reflection angles in aligned setups.

(3) The cube insert holds Ø2inch optics (excitation and emission filters) and a 50.8*72.0mm rectangular beam splitter (2mm ≤ thickness ≤ 3mm) at the center. The insert installs into the base in one orientation only, so correct alignment of the full cube assembly in the setup is critical.

• The base features four SM2 (2.035”40) threaded ports surrounded by 440 screw holes, compatible with 60mm cage systems via PCM series Ø6mm posts. Three M6 threaded holes on the bottom accept mounting posts for freespace applications.
