Technical Description
The combination of adjusters and fixed or spring-loaded stops enables fine adjustment for precise manipulation of mounts. They are also compact enough to be added to finished setups without redesigning the optical layout, unlike large translation stages or mounts.
Applied to adjust the collimation mount at the front end of the optical fiber on the Nano translation stage for collimating light output; side-mounted positioners are used with centering plates to move mirror mounts.
Longitudinal adjustable positioners are used in combination with contact blocks to adjust the height of Ø1/2-inch rods. Component fixtures can be used to install prisms, cylindrical components, and other devices.
