Infinity-corrected tube lenses feature a telecentric design and are key components in optical microscopes. They primarily correct aberrations between the sample and the objective lens, making them ideal for laser scanning and wide-field imaging applications.

Technical Notes
Infinity-corrected tube lenses adopt a telecentric design and serve as critical parts in optical microscopes. They mainly correct aberrations between the sample and the objective lens and improve imaging quality, well suited for laser scanning and wide-field imaging.


The model, optical parameters, wavelength range, and other markings are laser-engraved on the lens housing. Note: An infinity symbol (∞) with an arrow indicates which side of the lens should face the objective (infinity space). All sleeve lenses have a 14 mm housing height, allowing interchange of different focal lengths without realigning imaging equipment and objectives.

Both ends of the tube lens have SM1 (1.035”-40) external threads, compatible with our Ø1-inch lens sleeves and many 30 mm cage system components. These sleeve lenses can also be directly attached to dovetail adapters for integration into DIY microscope systems.
