Product Description

- Slit width adjusted by micrometer;
- Slit width: 0~4.5mm;
- One-to-one correspondence between micrometer and slit width adjustment, 10μm graduation;
- The slit is centered on the SM05 (0.535”-40) threaded hole;
- Can be mounted vertically or horizontally to a 30mm cage system;
The two blades of the OSS-30C adjustable width slit move uniformly inward or outward along the SM05 threaded through hole, maintaining the symmetry of the slit opening always centered on the SM05 threaded hole center.

Technical Description
(1) The two blades of the OSS-30C adjustable width slit move uniformly inward or outward along the SM05 threaded through hole, maintaining the symmetry of the slit opening always centered on the SM05 threaded hole center. The slit housing is designed with 4 4-40 threaded holes, which facilitates its installation in a 30mm cage system. During installation, the slit can be easily positioned in the vertical or horizontal direction to meet different experimental requirements.

(2) The width of the slit ranges from fully closed to 6mm. Adjustment is driven by a micrometer, and the reading of the micrometer maintains a 1:1 relationship with the actual slit width, adjusting 0.5mm per full rotation. When fully closed, the two blades should be in contact, but due to blade defects and limitations in blade parallelism, there may be a maximum gap of 0.25µm (this slight deviation will not affect the accuracy requirements in most applications).

(3) The bottom of the slit is designed with an M4 mounting hole, which makes it compatible with optical connecting rods and easy to fix in various optical devices.
