Technical Description
(1) With a mounting surface width of 95mm, the rails in this series provide enhanced support for constructing large-scale structures, three-dimensional load-bearing structures and expandable assemblies. Extruded from aluminum in different lengths, each side of the rail is finished with a linear mounting surface. The precision-machined structure allows large optical components to slide along the rail while retaining superior mechanical stability. Pre-assembled kits are offered for sale.
(2) Rails are available in lengths ranging from 200mm to 500mm, with four effective dovetail grooves formed on each end face. They are compatible with the OOP95-M series rail carriage platforms, whose mounting surfaces are equipped with an array of M6 threaded holes, ensuring excellent compatibility for the installation of rails and opto-mechanical components.
(3) Snap-in rail carriages can be snapped on or removed at any position along the side of the rail and slide freely along it. A variety of mounting surface widths from 25mm to 100mm are available, with positions secured by tightening the side-mounted M6 locking screws. In contrast, drop-in carriages can only be inserted and removed from the rail ends, and their positions are fixed by four M6 locking screws on the panel.
(4) The OPS95-ML base plate enables vertical mounting of 95mm rails onto optical tables or base rails. Countersunk slots facilitate precise installation positioning and the plate is compatible with both imperial and metric mounting standards. When paired with OOP95-M carriages, it allows horizontal mounting of rails onto optical tables or breadboards.
(5) End caps are used on the ends of 95mm rails for a neat, integrated surface finish. The end caps are installed by aligning them with the threaded holes at the rail corners and fastening with four M6 socket head cap screws.
