Technical Description
(1) The microscopy trinocular head is a commonly used optical accessory for microscopes, which enables simultaneous visual observation by the human eye and photographic recording. Two of the ports are fitted with 10X eyepieces for direct visual observation of samples (similar to a conventional binocular microscope), and the third eyepiece port is used to connect a camera or camcorder for capturing images or videos.

(2) The camera port of the trinocular head comes standard with a camera sleeve with a 0.5X magnification. The C-Mount threaded port allows the installation of compatible cameras at the imaging plane, which is parfocal with the eyepieces.

(3) The male dovetail joint at the bottom port (Ø39mm, α=90°) can be paired with TA series adapters to mount the trinocular head to other modules, such as microscope main supports, fluorescence cube modules, epi-illumination modules, etc., for custom system construction. By using SM series sleeves and cage components, the trinocular head adapter allows users to add or replace different optical components on the basis of the original microscope, thus realizing modular expansion of the system.
