Description
Product Description
Precise vertical adjustment for microscope objectives.
Focus knob with coarse focus and fine focus adjustment modes.
Damping gear for speed control, supporting fast or high-precision movement.
Linear lifting travel: 34 mm.
Maximum vertical load capacity: 1 kg.
Multiple pre-assembled configurations available.
This precision focus slide uses a ball-guided rack-and-pinion focus mechanism for smooth motion and zero backlash, with a total travel of approximately 34 mm for vertical adjustment of microscope lenses. The focus knob provides coarse adjustment, while the fine focus screw delivers precise adjustment at 4 mm per revolution.Do not use horizontally; this may cause backlash issues.

Technical Notes
The precision focus slide employs a ball-guided rack-and-pinion focus mechanism for smooth movement and backlash elimination. Total travel is about 34 mm for vertical objective adjustment. Eccentric adjustment of the gear sleeve optimizes meshing between gear and rack. Maximum vertical load: 1 kg.Do not mount horizontally (risk of backlash). For higher loads, contact customer support.

Compared with MCT-LM2, this unit has both coarse and fine focus (4 mm per revolution). The damping gear controls resistance and speed, using friction between the gear sleeve and shaft to prevent drifting of the focus position.

Front and rear panels can be mounted to Ø1.5-inch posts or 66 mm brackets via adapters. Multiple pre-assembled setups are supported: front panels allow installation of cage systems or other experimental setups.
