Technical Notes
The MCSM2-D1.5 camera port adapter connects custom optical systems or detectors to microscope tubes and camera ports from other manufacturers, such as Thorlabs Cerna and Nikon Eclipse upright microscopes. A camera can be attached to the adapter via an externally threaded C-mount or SM1 connector for integration into the microscope system. The adapter mounts to the optical port using the Ø1.5-inch male dovetail.
It also features SM1 internal thread, SM2 external thread, and four 4-40 tapped holes on a 30 mm grid for cage mounting. It integrates with SM1, SM2 lens tubes and 30 mm cage systems to enable mating between optical ports and threaded ports.
