The CRD-S2 rotation mount is designed to hold Ø2-inch (50.8 mm) optical components up to 13 mm thick on an SM2-threaded (2.035″-40) rotation stage. It allows 360° manual rotation, and its smooth rotation mechanism enables precise positioning. The mount is compatible with 60 mm cage systems and can be used in free space via the M4 threaded hole on the base.
Technical Description
(1) The CRD-S2 rotation mount is designed to mount Ø2-inch (50.8 mm) optical components up to 13 mm thick onto an SM2-threaded (2.035″-40) rotation stage. Optical components are secured with the included CSK4 SM2 retaining ring. An additional spacer is provided to protect the optic surface.

(2) The mount permits 360° manual rotation. The dial is graduated in 2° increments with numerical markings every 20°. The smooth rotation mechanism allows accurate positioning. A nylon-tipped set screw on the side locks the rotation ring after positioning. This set screw can be loosened or tightened using a 2 mm hex wrench.

(3) The mount accepts Ø2-inch (Ø50.8 mm) optical components. MC-T2 can mount thin optical components (thickness ≤ 6.5 mm). MC-S2A is designed for thicker optical components (minimum thickness 5 mm).

(3) The mount is compatible with 60 mm cage systems. It features four Ø6 mm through holes for mounting Ø6 mm cage rods to integrate the mount into a cage system. Side set screws lock the cage rods in place.
