Product Description

  • Compatible with 30 mm cage systems
  • Enables rotation of 30 mm cage coaxial system components around the optical axis
  • Accepts mounting of Ø12 mm posts via the bottom M4 threaded hole
  • 360° laser-engraved scale on the inner panel for angle reading and alignment
  • Rotation locking via a flexure mechanism

The CSJ-R1 rotation cage plate allows the entire 30 mm cage coaxial system to rotate around the optical axis. It consists of two cage plates: one is attached to a fixed cage structure section, while the other enables the rotation of all cage components connected to it.

Technical Description

(1) The CSJ-R1 rotation cage plate facilitates the rotation of the entire 30 mm cage coaxial system around the optical axis. It is composed of two cage plates: one is connected to a fixed cage structure section, and the other allows all associated cage components to rotate with it. The inner panel is laser-engraved with a 360° scale with 2° graduation, enabling precise manual angular positioning.

(2) Rotating the cage section between two fixed cage structure sections makes this rotation cage plate ideal for applications involving multiple optical components that require identical rotation angles (e.g., using two lenses to modify the spatial beam profile of a laser beam or multi-component polarization applications). After adjusting and setting the rotation position, the corresponding flexure locking mechanism can be tightened with a 2 mm hex wrench to fix the rotational position.

(3) The center of the rotation cage plate features a fully through SM1 (1.035″-40) threaded hole with a depth of 25.4 mm, ensuring no axial offset of the cage plate during rotation. The cage plate comes with two CSK3 retaining rings, allowing direct mounting of Ø1-inch optical lenses.

(4) Both the front and rear panels of the cage plate are equipped with four Ø6 mm through holes for mounting Ø6 mm cage rods, which must be interrupted at the cage plate for the two end sections. The positions of the cage rods can be fixed by tightening the side clamping screws with a 2 mm hex wrench.

(5) The bottom of the cage plate is provided with one M4 threaded hole, designed for mounting our Ø12 mm optical posts.
