The SM2-threaded cage plate is one of the most common 60 mm cage plates. It has a central SM2 (2.035″-40) threaded hole for mounting Ø2-inch optical components up to 8.9 mm thick. Optical components are secured in the cage plate using two CSK4 SM2 retaining rings.

Technical Description
(1) The CSJ-60 threaded cage plate features a central SM2 (2.035″-40) internal thread, suitable for mounting Ø2-inch optical components up to 8.9 mm thick or optomechanical components with SM2 external threads. The included two SM2 retaining rings secure optical components in the cage plate for use in 60 mm cage systems.
(2) The cage plate has through holes spaced at 60×60 mm, compatible with our Ø6 mm cage rods. M3 set screws beside the through holes fix the position of the cage plate in the cage system. They can be locked using a 1.6 mm hex wrench.
(3) The bottom M4 threaded hole can be used for mounting posts.
