Technical Description
(1) A cage system consists of a variety of precision-machined building blocks, facilitating the flexible construction of large opto-mechanical systems and achieving accurate alignment. Cage plates serve as the fundamental building blocks of cage systems, with a threaded or smooth hole at the center for mounting optical elements or lens sleeves.
(2) The SM1 (1.035″-40) threaded hole at the center of the CSJ-30 and CSJ-R30 cage plates is compatible with Ø1 inch lens sleeves. Comes with 2 SM1 retaining rings, allowing direct mounting of Ø1 inch optical elements with a maximum thickness of 4.7mm. The CSJ30-C can be mated with camera lens assemblies with external C-Mount threads, and the CSJ30-RMS can integrate RMS-threaded components such as microscope objectives into 30mm cage systems.

(3) A setscrew is located on the side of the through hole for fixing cage rods, which can be tightened with a 1.6mm/2.0mm hex wrench. In addition, Ø12mm stainless steel rods can be mounted through the M4 threaded hole at the bottom.
