Technical Description
These lens tubes are ideal for building compact optical assemblies. The Ø2 inch lens tubes accommodate one or more optical elements (as shown in the beam expander diagram). Optical elements are separated and fixed with retaining rings positioned at the desired depth inside the tube. (One retaining ring is included; additional rings are available for separate purchase.)
The lens tubes feature SM2 (2.035”-40) external threads. These Ø2 inch stackable lens tubes enable fast and simple construction of compact optical assemblies. Their stackable design allows direct connection to all SM2 (2.035″-40) threaded components, facilitating flexible assembly of complex optomechanical systems.
Compatible with our 60 mm cage assembly system. In cage systems, they can serve as light-shielding elements for lens tubes to block light paths and provide opaque light isolation.
