The CDM-25 ring-driven adjustable iris diaphragm features an SM2 (2.035”-40) thread design, enabling compatibility with our SM2 threaded accessories such as the Ø2-inch lens sleeves and 60mm cage systems. The diaphragm is equipped with external threads on one side and internal threads on the other, allowing it to be easily combined with standard Ø2-inch lens sleeves or 60mm cage plate assemblies for quick integration into existing optical systems.

Technical Description
(1) The CDM-25 ring-driven adjustable iris diaphragm adopts an SM2 (2.035”-40) thread design, which is compatible with our SM2 threaded accessories including Ø2-inch lens sleeves and 60mm cage systems. It has external threads on one side and internal threads on the other, facilitating easy combination with standard Ø2-inch lens sleeves or 60mm cage plate assemblies for rapid integration into existing optical systems.
(2) The annular adjustment design of the diaphragm makes it particularly suitable for installation in cage systems that allow for easy alignment. During adjustment, rotating the annular adjuster can change the aperture size from Ø1.4mm to 25mm. In addition, the aperture size can be locked by tightening the side set screw with a 1.5mm wrench.
The diaphragm is provided with laser scale markings, which display the actual diameter of the diaphragm with a tolerance of ±0.5mm. This scale simplifies the process of adjusting the diaphragm diameter in applications where the diaphragm is not directly visible, such as lens sleeve configurations.
- To precisely align the center of the aperture with the optical axis of the cage system, the CDM-25 diaphragm can also be paired with the CXY2-PM translation mount. This mount optimizes the position of the diaphragm in the cage system and enables precise alignment adjustment along the optical axis.
