Some special type of Laserland laser line module. Not every type of laser line module is suitable for laser swamp building. We make some special type of laser line modules based on the practices of haunted house owners in the United States and all accross the world and years of experience of laser swamp building.
1. Wavelength of the laser.
Wavelength decides the color and brightness of the laser. The haunted house owners prefer 532nm green laser for the the priority choice of the laser line modules. The genuine color of green can create satisfying laser swamp effects with fog machine easier than other color. 520nm green is a bit towards blue color. The 520nm green is a second choice. But the power of the laser has to be higher. 488nm blue laser is a rare color for the laser swamp like building a blue sky with clouds. 450nm and 405nm is respectively weak in the human eyes. It can used as a supplenmentary laser light source for add variety for the laser swamp.
Altough 532nm laser is a good choice for laser swamp, but it has some disavantage at the same time. It works in a range of temperature from 20-30 centi-degree. If the temperature is too low, it need heat-up time like 1 minutes or 2 to heat up itself to work nornally. If the temperature is high like hot weather in summner, it will let out heat to get the case of the laser module very hot, and its light will become of the heat accumulation. You need to use a heatsink or fan to cool it door when the case of the laser module is hot. But in the holidays of Halloween, the temperature is normally in the suitable range.
2. How to make a better effect.
To use the laser much safer is a important issue for haunted house owner. Laser is a dangerous item for human eyes. We must use safe product to build things. The laser line module much be Class IIIr safety class and while it has to be powerful enough to make brighter line at the same time. Laserland is experienced to do the job for years.
To make a better effects of laser swamp, we recommend you to use the laser module in pairs or in fours, and in sixs…If you use the laser aiming to each other pairly, you will enhance the line light and get better fog effects than use a single one. It you use the laser to build a large area of laser swamp, you have to use more laser modules to aiming at each other at the same hight. The laser lines from each laser modules must be overlapped at each other to make a single surface. The player in the laser swamp will not block any light and there no “shade” side of the laser swamp.
3. How to make a Laser Time Gate
To build a Laser Time Gate, you need use at least 2 laser line module to aim at each other and let the line shine vertically. You can set up two poles and fix at lease one laser line module on each pole. You can also fix more laser line module on the pole to get a better effect. The laser lines from each laser modules must be overlapped at each other to make a single surface.
