A fiber collimator is a pre-aligned optical device that collimates divergent beams from a fiber into parallel beams, or couples parallel beams into a fiber.

Technical Notes
This pre-aligned collimator converts divergent fiber light to parallel beams (or vice versa). Its compact Ø11 mm size enables easy integration, corrects beam divergence, reduces optical power loss, and improves system performance.
For installation, a collimator adapter with internal M11 × 0.5 thread and external SM1 (1.035”-40) thread is recommended, allowing direct integration into 30 mm cage systems.
It can also be mounted on optical adjustment mounts using POL-series or OAD-series mounting holes.
