Technical Specifications
The CAX-R series heavy-duty lifting mount offers high flexibility and strong adaptability, making it suitable for microscopy experiments and use as a main microscope support. It provides multiple mounting options to fully utilize the large working space of the microscope system.(Images: Cage Breadboard, 66 mm Rail Mount, Sliding Platform, 1.5-inch Post)

The heavy-duty lifting mount is pre-assembled with four components:√ PCA-K2 Post Collar√ CFEP-A1.5 Limit Clamp√ Mount Main Body√ OPS-ML Mount Base

Used with Ø1.5-inch posts, it allows 360° rotational adjustment and vertical lifting/lowering of the post within a certain range, facilitating positioning of mounted components in imaging systems. The collar and limit clamp enable quick positioning and locking of the post. The PCA-K2 post collar includes an alignment pin to maintain post height during rotation and is tightened with a 3 mm hex wrench. As a hard mechanical stop, the alignment pin quickly returns to the preset angle during use. Once the post position is set, the quick-release lever of the CFEP-A1.5 post limit clamp locks rapidly.

The OPH-F series sliding platform has a width of 63 mm and an array of M6 threaded holes on the panel at 25 mm spacing, for mounting optomechanical components or other experimental setups. The platform base features a sliding dovetail; when used with OOPM series slides, loosening the screw allows horizontal movement and positioning of the platform with mounted components. When fully extended, the platform can support a maximum load of 8 kg at its outer edge.

The OHD series cage breadboards are used to mount cage systems and other experimental setups at the top of 66 mm rails/mounts or at various heights along the vertical length of the mount.
- OHD-35 and OHD-SM1 have mounting blocks with four Ø4.2 mm counterbored holes and can be directly mounted to the top of the heavy-duty mount.
- OHD-SM1A requires an APT-90 right-angle adapter for free mounting at any position along the vertical length of the mount.

Cover plates have four Ø4.4 mm counterbored holes and can be secured to both ends of the mount with M4 cap screws.
- OPS-MO cover plate creates a light-tight enclosed environment inside the 66 mm rail/mount.
- OPS-MC cover plate provides an additional port with cable routing slots.

The mount main body has rectangular slot rails on all four sides, compatible with OOP-MA and OOP-MX slides. Slides allow free vertical movement of mounted optical components along the mount’s vertical length. The slide base is secured with two screws, operated with a 3 mm hex wrench. Selection of the support rail height determines the vertical range available for experiments and microscope components. For longer lengths, the OPH-B series heavy-duty rails are available.

The mount base features four counterbored slots and is secured to a platform with the included M6 cap screws.
